Coffee with James joined forces with the Though Mudder crew to serve great coffee to help the brave or insane teams that competed at the recent Sunshine Coast event.Tough Mudder is a series of hardcore 17-20 kms obstacle races,mud run events designed by British Special Forces to challenge the toughest of the tough.
Tough or insane crowds
The Sunshine Coast event was run at the normally beautifully sunny Caloundra. The weather decided to “help” the Tough Mudder organizers out and dropped massive rain fall on the coast course from the Friday prior, until late Saturday night.
Not only was the course Muddy,everywhere was muddy
Our team of Coffee professionals were ankle deep in mud.The gum boots were quickly adopted as a essential part of the uniform.
The Coffee with James Barrista’s were up to the challenge pumping out their great coffee to help the exhausted “Mudder Runners”to get enough energy to get back to their cars.
The Sunshine Coast franchise team faced their own Mud Run at the end of the event ,when we had to bunk out on Sunday afternoon.
A huge pile of mud had built up at the front of their site making the escape a challenge.With all hands on deck,plenty of help from local James Home Services Franchisees,Tough Mudder crew and a very large fork lift, we made it out.
